Today started off pretty cold and wet...but the good news is that the cedar is down! Maybe we can all start getting over colds and allergies now! Jesse and Lyn are starting to feel better and Miss Jadyn's nose is beginning to dry up again. Oh the joys of living in the Austin area!
Jadyn will be 2 in March and has been potty training herself over the last several months (we have basically let HER decide when she wants to use the potty instead of forcing it on her). She is reaching the point where, particularly in the mornings, she only wants to wear her 'gi girl' diapers (uh, that would be 'big girl'...aka Pull-ups) with the princesses on them. We all get so excited when she puts pee-pee in the potty and she loves to help us rinse out the potty to get it ready for next time.
Jadyn loves to read, play with her babies and clean house - yes, clean house! She even got a 'vavoom' cleaner for Christmas and loves to vacuum with Mommy or Daddy. And if you give her a rag, she'll start cleaning coffee tables, windows and window sills, floors...basically anything in her reach. Her favorite books right now are 'Emo' (that would be "Elmo" w/out the 'L') and 'Hammy' (aka Green Eggs and Ham). She LOVES Elmo and just got a new table and chair set that has Elmo on it. She likes to color and read her books at the table...and occasionally she'll eat at the table...if we can get her to sit still long enough! Oh yeah, and her second-favorite "character" is Emeril....yes, as in Emeril Lagasse. We watch the Food Network a lot and anytime one of his shows comes on she hollers "Emeril!" and will actually watch him cook and get excited about it! She's just so much fun right now - and Mommy and Daddy are loving every minute of it! Until tomorrow...love to all!
